Rear View Safety‘s newest addition to our lineup of backup cameras is the RVS-78745 Windshield unit. This new windshield-mounted unit is packed with great features that add extra utility to your camera system, taking it way beyond the standard rear-view mirror that traditionally occupies this display’s location.
Some of the unique features of this display unit are a 4.3-inch LCD screen that is large enough to display a video feed of your car’s surrounding as well as navigational, utility and entertainment options. This unit has an internal GPS antenna for its navigation system and a built-in high grade sensitive microphone for use with Bluetooth devices.
This unit also features a built-in BlackBox camera that records at 30 frames per second out the windshield at 1280×480 resolution. This resolution provides a clear image of events in front of the vehicle, even in poor lighting conditions. To store this video, the system uses a micro SD card that is expandable to 32 GB, giving you space to record hours of footage.
